What to Send Before a Sliding Door Repair Estimate

Start with the symptom and the safety concern

Say whether the door is heavy throughout its travel, catches at one point, will not latch or has a damaged screen. Mention whether it is impact-rated if you know. If the panel is leaning, off its track, has broken glass or cannot be secured, say that first and keep away from it.

Photos help explain a problem but do not establish the complete repair or price. Do not operate an unstable door to record a video, remove the panel or place your hands under it to show the rollers.
