Sliding glass door wheels & rollers
Seized bearings, flat-spotted wheels and corroded roller housings can turn an everyday patio door into a struggle. But a worn track or misaligned panel can feel the same. We check the whole running system instead of guessing from the noise.
Panel leaning, off-track or glass damaged? Stop using it, keep people clear and call. Do not lift or reset the glass yourself.

01
Check rollers, running rail, frame condition and panel alignment to identify the actual cause.
02
Choose compatible wheel diameter, housing, mounting and load capacity for the existing door.
03
Clear debris and discuss rail repair or stainless capping only where the track is suitable.
04
Set panel height and alignment, then test travel and latch engagement after the agreed repair.

New rollers running over a grooved or flattened rail can still feel rough. Where the frame is sound and clearance and drainage permit, a fitted track cap may restore the running surface. Structural damage needs a different solution.

Standard sliding door repairs run $99–$375 per panel. Your quote depends on compatible parts, rail condition and the work needed. Glass replacement and new installations are separate services.
Request your estimateWe give a free onsite estimate before quoting impact-door roller work. Heavy glass, specialized assemblies, multiple moving panels and access can change handling and labor complexity. We assess those details rather than treating every door as a standard slider.

“Called about a slider that hadn't moved in years. Ben had it gliding with one finger the same day — new rollers and a cleaned-up track instead of a whole new door.”

Standard sliding door repairs, including roller work, run $99–$375 per panel depending on the compatible hardware, rail condition and work required. This is a repair range, not a fixed roller-only price. Glass replacement and new door installation are quoted separately.
Yes, if the door is suitable for repair and compatible parts are available. Impact doors require a free onsite estimate so we can assess panel weight, hardware access, handling and labor complexity. We do not apply the standard repair range to an impact door without inspecting it. Repair does not certify or change a door's hurricane rating.
Worn or seized wheels can make the door drag; a flattened or grooved running rail can cause similar symptoms. Grinding alone does not identify the failed part. We inspect both before recommending rollers, alignment, track repair or a combination.
Often, when the frame and glass are sound and compatible roller assemblies can be sourced. The wheel size, housing profile, mounting points and load capacity need to match the existing system; rollers are not universal.
Do not lift, pry or force a heavy glass panel yourself. If the panel is secure, keep loose debris clear without disturbing the door. Lubricant cannot repair seized bearings or a damaged rail; follow the door manufacturer's maintenance guidance rather than coating the track with oil.
Yes, across Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach County. Share building access, elevator reservations and any association requirements when requesting an estimate. Tell us if the opening cannot be locked or a panel is unstable.
Our repairs carry a 2-year limited warranty on workmanship and the hardware we supply, subject to the published terms. Normal wear, unmaintained-track corrosion, pre-existing damage and work by others are not blanket-covered. See the warranty page for details.
Include your city, how many panels drag and whether the door is impact-rated. We’ll follow up to discuss the repair and arrange an estimate.
